On 1911 census James Ellins aged 23, Warehouseman, lived with his parents Mathew and Mary Ellins and his siblings at 48 Marsden Road, Redditch.

James Ellins was awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal.  Probate records state that James Ellins of 48 Marsden Road, Redditch, died at Amiens, France and his widow was Ellen Elizabeth Annie Ellins.
