Further Information About EDWARDS Henry

United Parish Magazine Shelsley Beauchamp and Walsh, August 1916:
It is with regret that we have to record, once more, the death of a parishioner at the front.  Not many weeks ago, Pte Harry Edwards called at the Rectory, during short leave, to thank the subscribers to the Christmas Present Fund for remembering him.  Now we hear that he has been killed.  Our sympathy is with a family and friends. R.I.P.

United Parish Magazine Shelsley Beauchamp and Walsh, July 1917:
A large congregation assembled at the Memorial Service held on the 29th May for our brave friends and fellow parishioners who have given our lives for us and their Country in the War.  Since our last Memorial Service, in October 1915, Frederick James Hall, Harry Edwards, Harold Lamb, Abel Badland, John Bilton Ellmer, and Charles Henry Shutt have earned the brave soldier’s grave.

Harry Edwards has no known grave, the photograph available shows his name on Thiepval Memorial.
