Patrick Duncan was born in Lancashire in 1916. He married Joan Mary Doris Purnell in Lahore, Bengal in 1945 whilst working for the British I.C.S. Political Service. Patrick Duncan was assassinated in India on 31st May 1948 and buried on 1st June 1948.
