Further Information About DIXON William

The following report appears in the Bromsgrove Weekly Messenger, 17th February 1917:
The son of Mr and Mrs Edward Dixon, Sharpway Gate, Stoke Prior, William Dixon was killed in action on 25th January.  He would have been 24 if he had lived to Monday next.  He joined up in January 1916, was single and before enlistment he was a bricklayer for the Salt Union, prior to which he was employed by Mr Bowater Vernon.
