Further Information About DAY Arthur Edwin

Probably Arthur Edwin Day, born Holdfast, Worcestershire in 1870.  Served as Private 4625, Grenadier Guards from 1st December 1893, served in the Boer War in South Africa, discharged to the army reserve in July 1902, finally discharged on 30th November 1905.

In 1911 Arthur aged 40 was resident in Bushley with his wife Lily and their 4 children.  He was employed as an Estate Labourer.  He died in 1925 aged 55.
