Bertrand Harold Davis was born at Bushley in 1896, the son of Charles Joseph and Elizabeth Ellen Davis of Park Lodge, Bushley. He was employed as a stable boy. Bertrand died at Sandwell, West Midlands in 1978, aged 82.
