Further Information About COULMAN Richard Maxwell

Richard Coulman was born in 1920.  He was the navigator on Avro Anson K8813, Coastal Command, which took off from RAF St Eval, Cornwall for a patrol at 12.15 hours.  A message was received at 16.57 indicating that the crew required assistance, believed to be under attack from enemy aircraft.  Blenheims from 236 Squadron were scrambled to search the last known area of the aircraft but no trace of the crew or the aircraft was found.
