RUBERY MAN KILLED IN ACTION
Mr and Mrs T. Clements, of Rubery, received news on Sunday 27 August that their eldest son, Private T.G. Clements, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, was killed in action, in France, on 31 August 1916. He was 20 years of age. Before joining the colours he was apprentice in the employment of Mr T. Deakin, boot and shoe maker, of Rubery. Deceased was a member of the Rubery Congregational P.S.A.
