John Edward Clarke, occupation: Sapper R.E., resident 12 The Butts, Worcester, died in Chatham Barracks.  He was buried in consecrated ground in Astwood Cemetery on 13th April 1943, aged 26 years.  The ceremony was performed by the Reverend O.R. Brandon.
