HMS Condor was a Fleet Air Arm air base situated two miles north west of Arbroath. It was used as a training school during WW2.
David Clarke was born on 6th September 1916. He entered Form Rem in January 1931 and was a King’s scholar under School House. At the time of his admission to the school his parent is recorded as F.C., Canmore Park Crescent, Erith, Kent. David was previously educated at Cherry Orchard Prep, Old Charlton. He left Kings School from *** 6 in July 1934 and took employment in a Shipping Office.
