A letter from Frank’s wife Dolores Checketts, 55 Priest Lane, Pershore, Worcestershire, dated 13th March (no year), can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that his name be added to the county roll of honour.  The letter states that Sergeant Frank Checketts, RAF Bomber Command, service no 948084, was killed in a flying battle over Holland on 2nd February 1943.  Buried in Eindhoven, Holland.

A second letter from parent in law H. Buckland, 70 Abbey Rd, Pershore, Worcestershire dated 16th May 1952 can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives also requesting that his name be added to the county roll of honour.  The letter gives the additional information that he was an air gunner, killed in action, crashed in Holland, February 1942.  Born in Wick and lived his life in Pershore and district.
