“Admitted 25.1.15, Overseas (1st Battalion) 21.7.16, Wounded 28.4.17, to England 18.5.17, Transferred to R.G.A. April 18, Died in Hospital Malta, 1. 8.18.”

He was wounded on 28.4.17 during an attack near Gavrelle during the battle of Arras.

Awarded British War Medal and Victory Medal.
