Enlisted October 1915; also served in France and Salonika
Charles enlisted at Worcester on 4th October 1915, previous occupation given as labourer. Initially he was in the Royal Army Medical Corps before transferring to the infantry on 29th May 1916. He arrived in France on the 25th June 1916, embarked at Marseille on the 3rd December 1916, and disembarked at Salonica on the 14th December. Charles left Salonica on the 15th June 1917, arriving at Alexandria three days later. His eldest brother, William Henry Bullock resided at the Heath Nursery, Lickhill Road, Stouport, his other brother Edward resided at Warwick and his sister Margaret lived in Edgbaston.
