ROLL OF HONOUR
BRYSON. – On the 30th ult., killed in action, George Lander Unite Bryson, Captain, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, elder son of George A. Bryson, Barnt Green, aged 21.

Barnt Green Officer Killed
Captain Lander Bryson, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, the elder son of Mr G.A. Bryson, of Barnt Green, has been killed in action. Captain Bryson was born in October 1894 being educated at The Lickey Hills School, Uppingham School (September 1908-May1913, an at Oriel College, Oxford, serving in the O.T.C. for six years. He obtained a commission in August 1914. and was promoted Captain in August 1915. While at Uppingham, he was three times chosen to shoot at Bisley. He twice won the Class Firing Prize of the school. A brother, Second Lieutenant O.C. Bryson, is serving in France.
George Bryson has no known grave, the photograph available shows his name on Thiepval Memorial.
