Droitwich Man’s Death
Mrs Brown, of the Vines Lane, wife of Private Frank Brown, 4th Worcesters, of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, has this week received news from the War Office that her husband died of fever in Cairo Hospital on 9th November. Brown before enlisting was employed by the County Council on the roads. He leaves three children, one an infant but a few months old. The widow, Mrs Brown, has five brothers in the Army – the sons of Mr William Colley, The Vines.
