Percy Bristow born in 1893 enlisted in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment on 18th June 1912 at Worcester. On his attestation paper he gave his age as 18 years 3 months, his place of birth as Stourbridge, Worcestershire and his occupation as a farm labourer. He was 5 feet 5¼ inches tall with a fresh complexion, hazel eyes and light brown hair. next of kin was his father Thomas Bristow, 24 Box Hill, Amblecote, Stourbridge. He served as Sergeant, 29890 throughout WW1 and was discharged on 19th August 1919. He re-enlisted in 1921 for short term service.
Both Percy Bristow’s died in 1965.
