Name incorrectly given as Eustace Bonsfield on Commonwealth War Graves Commission and National Archives Medal Roll
Private F. Bousfield 1st/1st Worcester Yeomanry, embarked at Avonmouth 9th April 1915 for service with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, disembarked at Alexandria, Egypt on 24th April 1915. Killed in action on 23rd April 1916.

Bousfield Eustace
Private, No 2314, Worcestershire Yeomanry (T.F.), eldest s. of the late Henry Michael Bousfield, of Hooton, Member of the Liverpool Stock Exchange, by his wife, Annie Wilkinson (Claremont Villa, Leamington Spa0, dau. Of Richard James Tetley, of Liverpool; b. Bromborough, co Chester, 8 Nov. 1885; educ. Merchant Taylors’ School, Great Crosby, and County School, Bedford; was in an Insurance Office in Liverpool, and afterwards a short time in New Zealand farming; went to the Malay States rubber planting, which he relinquished owing to ill-health; then started fruit and poultry farming at Evesham, Worcestershire, and joined the Yeomanry on the outbreak of war; went to Egypt with his regiment May, 1915; was reported missing, and afterwards as killed in action at Katia, Egypt, 23, April 1916. He had been recommended for a commission.
