LAST TRIBUTES TO AIRMAN
A/C Leonard Bourne
The rev. A. H. Lewis officiated at the funeral at St. Nicholas church, Droitwich, on Thursday, of Leading Aircraftman Leonard Bourne, who was killed on active service.
A native of Droitwich, he was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bourne, of 32, Evans Street, Wolverhampton and before joining the R.A.F. was employed at Courtaulds, Wolverhampton. He was 28 years of age and unmarried.
The Chief mourners at the funeral were the parents, Molly Bourne (sister), Mr. H. Price, Mr. G. Bourne, Mr. L. Price and Mr. T. Bourne (uncles), Mr. and Mrs. A. Price, Mr. and Mrs. B. Annis (uncles and aunts), Mrs. H. Elvins and Mrs. H. Harris (aunts), Mr. E. Price (cousin), Mrs. Grazier, and Tom (Wolverhampton).
