Bromsgrove Weekly Messenger 5th May 1917:
Sergeant Jack Bourne of Droitwich, Worcestershire Regiment.  Died of wounds.  Third son of James Bourne, Burrish Street, Droitwich.  He was to have married six weeks ago, but at the last moment his leave was cancelled.
