A letter from vicar, Douglas Hook, Wolverley, near Kidderminster, dated 23rd May 1950 can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that the name Stanley H. Bingham, Rifleman, Royal Ulster Rifles be added to the county roll of honour.

Bingham, Stanley Henry, Rifleman, No 7044554
Served in the Anti-tank Platoon of Support Company. Killed on 9 June when his 6-pounder anti-tank gun received a direct hit from enemy artillery. The son of Walter George and Amy Bingham, of Wolverley, Worcestershire. Buried in La Delivrande War Cemetery, Douvres, Grave VII. L. 3.
