Further Information About BIDDLE Percy James
Percy Biddle entered France on 13th August 1914. He is mentioned in a report of a memorial service at Upton upon Severn Parish Church in the Upton News of 6th November 1915, and in Pro Patria Mori in the same paper on 20th January 1918.
During the night of 15th – 16th May 1915 the battalion took part in a successful attack on German trenches near Richebourg-l’Avoue. Fatal casualties were 4 Officers and 45 Other Ranks.
