Charley Bayliss resided at Clifton, Severn Stoke. On the 1911 census he was listed as age 13, born 1898 at Holdfast, Worcestershire.

A Roll of Honour in the Upton News states Charley Bayliss was serving with the Army Service Corps.

Possibly T4/042427 Driver Charles H. Bayliss. A.S.C., later 25581, West Riding Regiment and 277476, Royal Field Artillery.
First served overseas some time after 3rd December 1915. He was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
