The following information has been researched by Jillian Coombes:
George Howard Baylis was born in 1897 in the Bromsgrove District.  On the 1911 census he seems to be called Howard, aged 14, born in Redditch, in the Jewellery Trade, lived with his parents John and Eliza Baylis and siblings at 46 Beoley Road, Redditch.
