The 1901 Census records that Arthur, aged 12, was living in Sherfield English, Hampshire, with mother Julia, aged 45, brothers Harry 14, and Walter 6. On 5th August 1912 Arthur married Emelyne Daisy Pocock at St Mary’s Kempsey. The St Mary’s Memorial Book records his address as Bridge Cottages and gives his date of death as 29th December 1917.

Appears in the Worcester/Worcestershire Roll of Honour Book for army casualties located in Worcester Cathedral. Regiment given as The Queen’s London Regiment.
