Further Information About BARNETT John Spencer

John Spencer Barnett, occupation: *** merchant (soldier), resident Rainbow Hill Terrace, Claines, died in Gilstow Road, Coventry. He was buried in Astwood Cemetery on 12th November 1918, aged 35 years, Dissenter. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend B. Vaughan Pryce.

John Barnett attended Worcester Royal Grammar School from 1893 to 1897. He died in Coventry of pneumonia, one of the many victims of the Spanish influenza epidemic that swept around the world and claimed the lives of an estimated 20 million people during 1918.
