The birth of Arthur E. Baldry is registered in the September Quarter 1920 under the Worcester Registration District, mother’s maiden name: Hughes.

Arthur Baldry was born on 12th August 1920. He entered Form M4 in September 1933.  At the time of his admission to the school his parent is recorded as G.E.B., 10, Corn Market, Worcester.  Arthur was previously educated at Worcester Cathedral Choir School.  He left Kings School from Form VI in July 1938.  Remarks: With City Engineer. (Died, RAF).

A letter from Reverend A.B. Drew, St Nicholas Rectory, “Highbrake”, Whittington Road, Worcester dated 4th May 1950 can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that Arthur E. Baldrey’s name be added to the county roll of honour.
