F. Baker 1st/1st Worcester Yeomanry, 1st Draft, embarked at Devonport 23rd October 1915 for service with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, disembarked at Mudros 6th November 1915, disembarked at Alexandria, Egypt on 30th November 1915. Killed in action on 23rd April 1916.

By decision of the Army Council, this soldier is to be regarded as having died 23 April 1916.

Mudros was the main harbour on an island off the Gallipoli peninsular where ships disembarked their passengers before they were taken in smaller ships to the Peninsular. Frank did not therefore land on Gallipoli but waited at Mudros until the Yeomanry were withdrawn from the Peninsula back to Alexandria.
