Frederick’s father, Samuel Adams, served with the Worcestershire Regiment during WW1 having enlisted in August 1908. His service papers record his marriage to Annie Morris Boyer on the 27th June 1909 and the birth of their two sons, Samuel John born 16th October 1911 and Frederick born 2nd December 1912.
