Private F. Adams 1st/1st Worcester Yeomanry, embarked at Avonmouth 9th April 1915 for service with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, disembarked at Alexandria, Egypt on 24th April 1915. Killed in action on 23rd April 1916.

A memorial service and the dedication of the war shrine took place on Sunday November 4th at Great Witley Chapel —— The shrine is the more interesting from the fact that it is made of the wood of the Britannia. An old battleship, which was, until a few years ago, the training place of all our naval officers.
