Further Information About WORKMAN William

William Workman was born in 1891, the eldest of the 10 children of Nathan and Ann (nee Pugh) Workman.  Three of his siblings died in childhood and his father died at the age of 45 leaving his mother to raise 7 children on her own.  In 1911 William, aged 20, was working at Dean Farm, Hadzor near Droitwich as a farm labourer
