Philip Webb was born in Lower Sapey in 1888.  He married Ada Adams on 18th August 1913 in St Peter’s Church, Martley

Philip Webb was attested into the army on 10th December 1915 and mobilised on 11th August 1916.  He saw service in France from 18th February 1917 to 5th November 1917, returning to England on 6th November 1917.  He died on 2nd November 1918 from pneumonia at the Military Hospital, Worcester.
