ANOTHER EVESHAM MAN DEAD
The death of another Evesham soldier is reported – Pte. Tom Roberts, son of the late Mr. J. W. Roberts.  He joined the Worcestershire Regiment after the outbreak of war, and had been abroad since last September.  He was taken ill and invalided home.  He died rather suddenly at Southampton on Tuesday, and was buried there on Friday.  He was twenty-five years of age and unmarried.

(Thomas was the son of Joseph Wilson and Sarah Roberts (nee Harris) who were married in 1880.)
