Further Information About FOSTER G R

George Richard Foster was born in Bushley in 1899, the son of George and Annie M Foster of Moss Green, Bushley.  Prior to enlisting he was employed as a farm labourer.  He enlisted in the Worcestershire Regiment at Worcester on 24th May 1918 and served as Private 52939 in the 1st/8th Battalion.  George died in Worcester in 1965 aged 66.
