The following information has been researched by Dave Pugh:
The Memorial Book in St Mary’s gives Charles’ address as Severn Terrace, but the 1911 Census records that he lived, aged 11, at White Rose Cottage, Leigh Sinton, with father John 37, mother Emily 38, sisters Elsie 12, Minnie 3, Ellen 1, and Emily 8 months, with brothers William 10, Sidney 8, and Ernest 7. There was also a 9th child who had died.
