Frank Owen is mentioned in the following report in the Bromsgrove Weekly Messenger, 24th February 1917:
Private W.A. Owen, son of Mr and Mrs Fred Owen, Astwood Road, Feckenham. In hospital suffering from a slight wound. He was also slightly wounded at Gallipoli. His brother, Private Frank Owen, Black Watch, died of dysentry at Salonika, last year.
