Harry Palmer joined Kidderminster Borough Police as PC K028 on 13th January 1912. At the time he joined the force he was 25 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair.
Harry served as Police Sergeant K004 from 1920 to 1926, leaving the force on 28th January 1922 and re-joining just one day later on 29th January 1922. He left Kidderminster Borough Police on 15th February 1926.

Harry Palmer, aged twenty-eight; height, 5ft. 11in. Service in force, three and a half years. Native of Kidderminster.
All enlisted in the Royal Garrison Artillery on July 15th last, and are now stationed in the South of England. Hall, Palmer, Allen, Haycox and Large are attached to the 49th Battery (Siege), R.F.A., and Moody is now attached to the 56th Battery (Siege), R.G.A. All are single men.
