Further Information About FIDOE Enoch Charles
Enoch Charles Fidoe was born in Lindridge, Worcestershire in 1893, one of 12 children of Alfred and Louisa Fidoe. In 1911 the family were resident at Stone Cottage, Menith Wood, Stockton, Worcestershire. Enoch, aged 18, was employed as a farm labourer.
During the Great War, Enoch served as Private 43762 with the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry. He was awarded the Victory Medal and the British War Medal.
