Harry Burton was born on 5th August 1892 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. At the time of his death his next of kin was his mother Matilda, Weston Hall, Stoke Works, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
HMS Anchusa was torpedoed and sunk off the North coast of Ireland by the German submarine U54 on 16th July 1918. Of the one hundred men on board the ship, seventy eight lost their lives.
