Born 9th June 1923.
Peter Clarke was killed along with Squadron Leader William Allinson when the Canberra B2 aircraft they were flying encountered a bird strike on take-off from Soudon, Exeter, Devon. This resulted in the loss of starboard engine power, a forced landing was rejected due to housing below so the pilot opened up the remaining engine, lost control and crashed at Clyst Honiton near Exeter killing both men.
