Appears in the Worcester/Worcestershire Roll of Honour Book for army casualties located in Worcester Cathedral.

Clifford Woodhouse was born in Stourbridge, the son of John Woodhouse.  He was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church in Stourbridge.  He volunteered for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps and was transferred to the Machine Gun Corps when it was formed in 1916.  He was seriously wounded, probably at Third Ypres, and was sent back to Britain to recover at Tooting Military Hospital, South Wales.  Private Clifford Woodhouse died of wounds on the 24th August while in hospital.  His body was sent by rail to Stourbridge where he was buried in the Cemetery.
