POWICK ASYLUM DOCTOR’S DEATH FROM WOUNDS
Dr. F.J. Wisely, of the Royal Army Medical Corps, who was formerly an assistant medical officer of the Worcester County and City Asylum at Powick, died at Alexandria of wounds received in action at the Dardanelles. The deceased young officer, who was only about 28 years old, received his commission a year ago. He was on duty in the trenches when he was wounded. He was a native of Belfast, at which University he graduated. He was highly esteemed at the Asylum, and his death is greatly regretted.
