Edward Thomas G. Duer born in Chiswick in1891, son of Edward and Emily Harriet Duer, 37, Antrobus Road, Chiswick. Occupation: Fitter. Died Willesden in 1954, aged 62.

Volunteering in October 1914, he was almost immediately drafted to France. He did excellent work on various sections of the Western Front, until the cessation of hostilities. He was then sent to Germany with the Army of Occupation until his demobilisation in May 1919.
