Further Information About DAMSELL Frank

Frank Damsell enlisted on 8th May 1916 at Stroud.  On his attestation form he gave his age as 17 years 336 days and his occupation as a carpenter.  He was posted to the Army Reserve until 25th January 1917 when he was mobilized and posted to join the Devonshire Regiment.  He remained on home service and was admitted to No 1 N.Z General Hospital, Brockenhurst on 24th October 1918 where he died from bronch0-pneumonia at 3.30pm on 29th October 1918.
