Beckford Sailor’s Death
The death occurred, after a brief illness, from pleurisy and pneumonia, at the Naval Hospital, Plymouth, on the 22nd October, of Bertram Carr, the only son of Mr and Mrs W. Carr, of Beckford. He was only 17 years of age, and joined the Navy only two months ago. Much sympathy is displayed towards Mr and Mrs Carr in their bereavement.
