Leonard Brockas was born in Lewisham in 1889, the son of Thomas and Caroline Brockas and husband of Louisa Brockas nee Crowther.  Before enlistment he was employed as an Engine Fitter.  He went to France on 10th September 1915.  Leonard died in Birmingham in 1962 aged 73.
