Robert Bough was born on 16th February 1922. He entered Form 2 in September 1933. At the time of his admission to the school his parent is recorded as E.R.B., 17 Vernon Park Rd., Worcester. Robert was previously educated at St Johns’ Elementary School. He left Kings School from Form VI in July 1938. To Worcester Royal Grammar School.

A letter from Robert’s son and mother can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that his name be added to the county roll of honour. The letter states that he joined the army in 1941 and died in Germany.
