Awarded Military Medal.
The following report appears in the Upton on Severn News, Saturday 24th March 1917:
The Military Medal has been awarded to Gunner Harold Allcott, third son of Mr and Mrs B. Allcott, of Tiltridge Farm, for mending telephone wires for several days, under heavy shell fire, in September 1915. The ribbon was pinned on him on Christmas morning last in the presence of his comrades.

We learn on going to press that Mr B Allcott, Tiltridge, has received notification that one of his sons has been killed in the recent fighting.
