On the 1911 census Albert David Stanton aged 14, Needle Warehouse Boy, lived with his parents Joseph and Ivy Elizabeth Stanton and sister at 15 Evesham Road, Headless Cross.
Albert Stanton enlisted in the army on 7th February 1916 at the age of 18 years and 11 months. At the time he was living at 59 Mount Street, Redditch and had been employed as a Clerk. He died of disease, influenza/pneumonia on 29th November 1918 at the military hospital, Fargo.
