On the 1901 census Ernest Morrall aged 11, scholar, lived with his parents Jabez, employer toolmaker and Susan Morrall and his siblings, at Dagtail, Feckenham. On 1911 census Ernest aged 21, Needle Grinder, was married to Hilda and they lived 1 Hemmings Entry, Prospect Hill, Redditch.

Death of Private E. Morrall
An official intimation has been received of the death, while serving at the Dardanelles with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, of Private E. Morrall, son of Mr and Mrs F. Morrall, Redditch Road, Studley. He was 20 years of age, and prior to enlisting, was employed at the Birmingham Small Arm Co., Redditch Works.
