AIR RAID VICTIM
A.B. Donald Hubert Malin, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Malin of Melrose House, Cheltenham Road, Evesham, who was reported last week, was killed during a recent enemy air raid on Portsmouth.
The funeral of A.B. Donald Hubert Malin took place on Monday at Hampton, the body having been brought home on Sunday.  The Vicar, the Rev. E. Spencer Jones officiated, and the family mourners were Mr. and Mrs J. Malin (mother and father), Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Icke (brother-in-law and sister), Mr. and Mrs. A. Woodroffe (brother-in-law and sister), the Misses Cynthia and Constance Malin (sisters), Mr. and Mrs. B. Harker, Cheltenham (uncle and aunt), and Mrs. B. Coffee (friend).  There were many beautiful wreaths, including one from friends of his at Hampton also serving in the Navy.

(Donald was the son of Joseph and Florence Beatrice Malin (nee Sheppard) who were married in 1913)
